I love all the record clocks I've been seeing not just on here-but everywhere.
So I thought to myself, I need to get some awesome colored vinyl and make a clock with it for Jay.

I went to thrift stores, no luck this time, so I turned to good ol' eBay.
And found this 7" tie-dye record from the UK.

So I had to have it, I mean-how often do you come across vinyl like that?

I turned it into this:

  This is like my first post to this entire site of something I've made.
Which is rather insane, I've been lurking for over a year and commenting on everyone else's stuff.
I just always forget to post pictures of things I've been making.
But now Christmas is over and I made a bunch of stuff for people for the Holidays.

I bought this toolbox a couple weeks ago to paint foy my boy for Christmas:

I bought some Silver Thaw from a semi-LocalYS for $22.
And I don't even know what to do with it yet! haha 
I just couldn't resist buying it because its so colorful! (5B), that and my friend, Ana, was peer pressuring me...haha.

I checked out the book 'sexy little knits' from the local liabrary & I LOVE it. (of course!)
My only problem is that some of the yarns in this book are really expensive and I can't afford them right now, plus the only place around here that carries yarn is Michaels (and WalMart, but I don't go there) there is a yarn store about 45 minutes from here but I won't get up there for a little while.
So I was wondering if anyone had made any of the items in this book with a different yarn? That I could possibly get from Michaels? It would be totally awesome if you could help a sista' out!
Is there anything similar to cascade fixation that I can pick up @ Michaels?

Does anyone know any patterns that involve roosters?
My grandmother likes rooster stuff so I thought about knitting her either a little like rooster doll (for lack of better word) or a pot holder or something with a rooster on it.

I just started working on the "Queen of Hearts Bikini" On Page #224 in the Stitch 'N Bitch book. I'm a little confused, which can be easy for me, haha 
On Page 225, where it says to begin the decrease(s) am I to do that after I finish the initial 22 (24,26,28) Rows?
I think so, but don't want to mess up and have to start all over.
Has anyone else made this bikini?

I've been stenciling now for a wee bit, but I've never done a multi layer stencil so I could use some help...? I came across one tute on here but the pictures didn't work  .
And then I came across a similar post but everyone that responded said it'd be easier if she posted a picture of the stencil so they could kinda walk her through it or what not.
So I'm taking that advice, this is the stencil I want to do:
