1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Looking for clear straps. Can You help? on: April 04, 2008 06:33:47 AM
Penlowe- Yes her dress has teeny straps. I am thinking of either clear or teeny straps to match. We tried the wings in a corset approach, but she cannot wear a corset with the dress.

BlackResonance- Thanks! I will check at JoAnns and see if I can find those. I bet I can.
I'm hesitant to order online because I want to check them out in person.

I am making my best friend a pair of wings for he wedding. I want them to be worn like a backpack with clear straps.
Have you ever purchased clear vinyl for straps (purse, bra, shirt, whatever)?
If so, where?

Thanks!  Smiley
3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Tea Time Swap 2 Gallery! on: October 15, 2007 03:09:22 PM
Kenners- It was an awesome compliment and I really appreciate it SO much. Smiley

It's here!  Grin
Rockness totally nailed it. I've now got a giant cup for tea (awesome because I'm always drinking two cups back to back) and a bunch of yummy tea and CHOCOLATE and my favorite is a knitted potholder with a teacup on it that says "TEA" across it.  Grin
I have been either burning my fingers or grabbing something inappropriate like a towel or something to pick up my tea kettle and now I have something "official"  Cheesy to use.
I'm off to hide that chocolate.
Here are two photos (I'm not a photographer  Wink):

I'm eager to see everyone elses packages. Smiley

Rockness- I'm so happy you are happy.  Grin
I am going to my mailbox in a few hours so I should have photos later today or tomorrow.

Kenners- Thank you so much!  Grin Grin I'm glad it looks professional because I *am* a professional.  Cheesy

Yay! I get to see my tea package soon!!! BBL.

I have everything made and wrapped and packed.
The mailing will be happening tomorrow. I took a bunch of photos but I still need to go through them because many are crap.  Cheesy

After taping the package 12 ways to Sunday, I realized that I forgot to include a note.  Roll Eyes I'm not so sure I want to unpack it, so I'll send a PM or post on this thread. Perhaps both.  Grin

you would not believe how many times I have wrapped womething totally and completely up and realized the box was sitting on top of the note that was supposed to be IN it! You can put the note in an envelope, put the address info on the envelope and tape the envelope to the outside of the box!

Ronda

How I wish I had read this before I sent my husband to the post office.  Cheesy
I never thought about putting the note outside the box.
Oh well.
Next time I will remember.  Smiley

I'm about 1/2 done with everything (and should be working on it now instead of surfing the puter and watching HGTV  Cheesy).
