Thanks Trekky! It was a little tricky at first manipulating the colors and thinking outside of the box. I'm looking forward to doing more, I downloaded 4 different QR code apps to test them as I go along.

I made some business cards with the panda QR code!

Thanks adelestlg! I have the panda as my wallpaper now! I also printed some out on a larger scale and my husband has them up on his office as art.

Thanks Antidigger! The only drawback I can foresee is perhaps the colors printing out and not giving enough contrast. Which is why I'm probably going to print them myself on stickers and test them.  This way it's better to have a small batch rather than shell out for them to be printed on business cards and not work...at least for now.

There's a couple designs that I think will work regardless, like the panda one and the Dalmatian with the green background.

I didn't really know where to put this, but I figured this was more appropriate in the "More Art Less, Craft Area."  After seeing  Trekky's Ribbon woven QR code http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=386599.0 I wanted to see if I could alter QR codes with color. I haven't really looked into QR codes before. I've seen them around, but I never really knew what they were.

Anyway, I decided to test them out with my iphone with the Redlaser and i-nigma apps. I think they work and when I print them out them seem to work as well.

Hope you guys like them, comments are always appreciated from fellow crafters!

Here's the first one I made in two different color themes. I like them both so it's hard to pick a favorite.

Then I decided to make a panda one

Then I decided to make a second dog one, this one leads to my blog

I'm so sorry I haven't posted back, my internet connection was spotty for the last couple days!  Undecided

Thank you so much for your compliments LiveLongandCraft, SimplyFabulous!, annoyinglittlegirl, peppersaskatoon, thenorm02, Len, thisbirdsabsurd, SciFunk, I Sew Cute, PwrToolChick, dawn0684, goktrose, k8kre8s, and hugarobot

It really means a lot to have the support! I've been working hard to learn as much as I can about pastel to keep moving forward. I think it's important to never stop finding out new techniques and keep applying them to your own art. I still see some stuff now that I would change with this drawing, but I know that will help with my next drawing, so on and so on. It does make me really happy though Smiley

Thank you BeaG, itscribe, SunflowerSmiles, maxxev, and smallhold!

itscribe, I've worked with pastel's before this is the first pastel drawing that I've done on Ampersand's Pastelbord. I've come to love velour paper, especially for animal portraits. However, the Ampersand was pretty nice to work on. It's a tough choice!

Thank you jellybean89, not sure I would say incredible but I'm happy  Grin I think I'm getting closer to photo realism work so I think I'm aiming in the right direction. I know I'm a hard critic.  Smiley

Riechan and tcmatteson, I actually picked this photo because of the eye reflections. I know that might sound weird but I knew I would add blue into the reflections and I wanted to see how it would turn out. I also added blue and blue gray into the nose to balance it out.
