I made one as a scarf for my mom in the black and white color, but for the other outrageous colored ball I use it just like Calysa!

Kiss Thank you for answering all of my questions on this project.  Kiss However, I really couldn't distinguish where to do the sc so I just guessed and I think it turned out all right for my first crocheted FO.

WOOOO! I finished my first slipper!

I apologize for my endless questions, but I searched the net and couldnt find it anywhere (probably because it probably a stupid question  Roll Eyes). How do I cast off in crochet?  Undecided Huh
11667  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Another question from the newbie on: February 25, 2007 09:41:01 AM
Sorry for my endless questions on this project.  Huh It seems to be easy to everyone else! So, hopefully these two will be my last questions. First of all, when it says to slip stitch the heel together, do I stick my crochet hook through two stitches, yo, and then pull through all loops? And when it says to add a sc border around the top of the slipper, I dont know where to do my sc! What stitch do I pull it through?  Undecided I dont know because my edges dont look like normal stitches. So sorry for my silly questions and thanks in advance.

Ah...I see. Thank you. I decided to stop my crocheting and ask here, as it seemed to be growing too big for the size I needed. I would have been very frustrated if I had needed to frog even more. So, thanks again!  Smiley

I'm a beginner, so sorry if this is a stupid question. When it says Ch 2. then hdc however many it is and then repeat...Does it mean that I repeat the hdc or also the ch. 2? Thanks!
11670  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Baffled Knitter (yes I know that this is the crochet section) on: February 21, 2007 04:45:38 PM
r-brumback...wow  Shocked I didn't know that the whole knitting thing could be that serious. Well, as a beginner, I don't really have a stash at all, so I'll try to restrain from buying a big stash just for knitting. But yes, as it said in the article, part of the reason why I wanted to learn about crochet as well is because it is faster. And being a slow knitter already, I'm wanting to speed things up a bit. However, I do hope to do both.
