It's beautiful, I really like the way you draw.  That sounds a little like a bad pick up line doesn't it?

I especially like the second and third ones, but they're all lovely!

I got the texture by dipping tissue paper in a mixture of Elmer's glue and water, just gluey enough to keep the mixture sticky, then squeezing it out and arranging it like you see it.  Then I just painted over it once it was dry. 
I thought about adding text, I love it, but a lot of my art incorporates that already, also, usually I'm not happy with the look of the text as soon as it dries.  LOL. 
If you want some negatives let me know, maybe we can do a small ephemera swap.

Like a lot of you I hoard old photos, so I decided to do a series called "Other People's Families", The Ballad of Bobby Peck was the first in the series, these are the newest ones.
I SWEAR I can take decent pictures, my camera just sucks right now.

Baby in Pram (Truest colors)



As you might be able to tell, I've become a tad obsessed with texture, I don't like Roses very much as a whole, but I love the texture I was able to create.  The problem overall I think, is that the whole thing seems a bit unfinished.  But nothing else works with it!
Baby in pram has negatives behind it, I was able to score a box from an estate sale with pictures throughout decades from the same family, so all the negatives relate to the picture.

You did an amazing job blending the style of the illustration with your painting, I wish I had that kind of talent!

I love this, it's funny I guess, but also sad that for so long people thought it was o.k. to label girls (especially) as chubby.  I love the angle of the girl, and especially that discolored bit by her feet.  Great job!
