the costume is just a pair of pants and a pullover shirt with a detached hood. it looks more impressive made with fur.

i've had this jersey for about 4 years and never wore it (except to games) because it went to my knees and made me look fatter than i am.  i don't need any help with that, so i used this picture as my inspiration:

i made this scarf in a weaving class i took.  its a twill weave that reverses on each warp color.  i'm pretty sure its wool.

its about 60" without the fringe


i was too lazy to de-wrinkle it, but here's a close-up shot of the twill lines

and an action shot.  i was so excited i matched my makeup to the scarf colors

i used probably the world's oldest table loom to make this scarf.  the teacher questioned my choice of colors at first but everyone thought it was pretty rad when it was finished.

i like to make some pretty tacky items, so i have some tacky scraps left over. i give you the butcher knife cozy.  my photograpy is terrible, but the irony is there.

i forgot to mention that the zebra print is actually furry, but my bad pics don't really show that.

i took a photo of this pigeon seconds before another obnoxious tourist scared him away.  i think he needs a name.  any suggestions?

i'll begin by saying i'm not a painter, but i wish i were.  i used a photo editor to take a picture and reduce it to 2 colors, then i copied it in acrylic, light and dark violet.

The bag itself is extremely simple, so I'll spare you pics of the inside.  It is made of medium weight cotton; the side seams are turned and stitched, the bottom seam is a french seam, and the seams that make the bottom square are Hong Kong seams.

I made the stencil from freezer paper. Man, I heart freezer paper.

The straps are made from a belt I really like but never wore.
