but what about the lining?

maybe my head is in the clouds today, i have made many purses (some with zippers) all with lining but would it work the same way?

would anyone here know how to make a tissue holder-pouchy thing with a zipper down the middle?

something like this....

but with a zipper down the middle where the opening is.

does anyone know if there is a tutorial around somewhere that i might have missed?  or someone could just explain it to me?

i know it  shouldnt be too hard to do, but its late and im tired and i cannot possibly figure this out!

thank you!

What do you want to know?  I"ve made this one twice, and it's come out just fine.  What can I help with?

well i have the front part of the bodice done...its a matter of figuring out the back. i cut out the back part bu it seems wayyyy too small; even the largest piece doesnt seem like it will fit. i was thinking of cutting 2 of them out and sewing them together to make a longer piece but im not sure how it will affect the whole thing.

and the waist elastic part.....im sooooo confused!!

any help or sugesstions are welcome

thanks!

i nevvvvver use patterns, in fact i never have used one at all, i just think of my own ideas or see something and try to copy it.

but this is where my problem is.   ive seen a lot of simplicity 3882 dresses and really have admired dress c  but for some reason i just could not picture how it was made.  so i bought the pattern, thinking it should be pretty easy, lots of people buy patterns

(its the reddish one on the bottom)

boy was i wrong.

i managed to make the front of the bodice but after that i became sooo lost. the directions and pieces for the back of the bodice seem ridiculously small to me and im really confused about the elastic that goes around the waist.

if anyone has made this dress at all, help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!!

i think its really pretty.   the black around it adds a lot more detail, i think without it it wouldnt look so professional.

and i could see it being used in the summer or winter, just depends on what mood youre in i guess
