This is a great idea! My mother and I have an ongoing joke that she should put an ice fishing tip-up on the top of her car [oh my dog am I ever from Wisconsin or what?]. She's not preoccupied with beautiful babies, she's just got a terrible case of senioritis.

hi kaylanmax, i love your clutch!! so much i had to do one myself i could finally use up this  one skein red cotton (which i bought for knitting a sleeping bag for my daughter but i hated knitting with it so it never happened) i hope you dont mind posting it here?

oh and i have to say how much i love this website, i found it only 2 weeks ago and now i keep coming back here every day, you are all so talented and nice! it is so much fun here!

You did great matching the yarn color, lining and button.  They all look perfect together!

I'm never too sure about how to line a crocheted purse.  Yours looks so neat.  Did you hand stitch it in with thread?

I did hand stitch it in. I think that is probably the easiest way to ensure that the fabric is even and straight because I hand sew so slowly. Another nice thing is that the thread is so well hidden that you can't even see it on the outside of the purse.
