1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Need help dealing with a spool that's too big on: February 04, 2008 02:05:06 AM
Hi. I've just gotten my first sewing machine and am learning my way around it. I bought some thread this weekend and just discovered that the spools -- actually the cylinders -- are too big for the spool holder. GRRRRRRR!

My machine, a Necchi 215A-B-EU, is pretty basic and has only a vertical spool holder. The manual isn't particularly helpful -- less so for me because it's in Dutch -- and does not address this issue.

So is there any way that I can use these spools of thread with my machine?

Thanks for your help!

Amity
