Oooh, I want one!  I'm a costume-holic too (but I'm a performing arts major so I have an excuse  Wink )

Oooh, you could carefully apply more bleach to get a white spotted effect, and then if you wanted more than just white spots, you could carefully apply kool-aide dye to the white spots to have a colorful spotted hoodie.

YKYACW . . . you're boyfriend works at a coffee shop and reports that a knitting group has recently begun meeting in the shop every so often, so you charge him with finding out as much as he can so you can have some real life knitting friends.

. . . you finally figure out a mutually agreeable time to meet some of the knitting ladies and even though your boyfriend's co-worker reports that you already missed one of them, you eagerly sit and watch the door getting all excited when it opens for the next 30 minutes.

I just turned 20 two days ago and say I'm old to everybody.
It's not that I think I'm OLD. But... it's like... a reality check. "holy-shit-i'm-twenty" type of thing. Like, I need to get my ass in gear and do what I want with life instead of sitting around and telling myself that I'll do it when I'm older.

I felt like that on my 20th, but now that I'm almost 21 I feel so freakin young, like 14 or 15 young.  Maybe it's because I seen all the 20-somethings around me who crammed a whole lot more in my life . . . but yet I'm not as stressed as they are.

Now I have the urge to craft shirts with snarky sayings about 20-somethings even though I am one.

YKYACW you go to Michael's to buy yarn for a swap and instead end up walking out with four skeins of sugar and cream yarn for yourself...It was on sale, Michaels shouldn't tempt me so, that should just be illegal.

Hehe, Michaels seems to do the opposite for me (maybe 'cause I work there).  Everytime I tempted by something, it goes on sale for a worse discount than my employee discount (which can't be applied to sale items).

YKYACW . . . you love closing at Michaels even though you have to stay late because it's the best time to smuggle the damaged products out (some are still in really good condition, and the company throws it out because it's not good enough to sell!!)

. . . you suddenly love your other passion in life, ballet, even more for it's crafting oppertunities: legwarmers, soft and lovely sweaters, pointe shoes bag, little pouches for toe pads and band-aids, hair accesories to keep my bun neat and stylish . . .

Now I wish I had the time to do a dancer's craft swap, but alas, said ballet classes and current wips already fill my time.

YKYACW you leave WIPs lying around just because the sight of crafting materials makes you happy.

You know you're on craftster more than you're crafting when you every single time read that as being the person, not a project
*goes off to work with needles and markers on WIPs* >_>

Cheesy I thought she was talking about me!

seriously WIPs.
get off the floor!
Tongue
LOL, I thought she was talking about you, too, at first!  It must hurt to have all those needles and markers on you!

maybe she crafted a WIPs voodoo doll Tongue

Of course not, I crafted a WIPs beanie baby so I could have the phenomenon at home.

. . . when you procrastinate finishing a project because you don't want to be done yet.

Hey I had a grandma who could definitely be considered free-range, she'd smack your hand if you behaved to "square".

YKYACW you are appalled that when you got caught up in "real life" this thread litterally doubled in size and you missed it (I left off on page 70-something!!) and spend all day catching up.

. . . when you could spend the last five minutes before going to work on Craftster or looking for your shoes and you choose Craftster.  I grabbed my old jazz shoes instead because they happened to be laying about.

. . . then I started thinking about how hard it would be to make a new pair of jazz shoes from soft leather . . . then the old desire to make Ren Faire slippers resurfaced . . . then came the daydreams about a Ren Faire dress . . . and then I wondered why I was late to work.
