Here's my WIP in SWS Slate. For some reason, my gauge distributes the colors so that the blocks appear in roughly the same places in each row. :p Maybe the next ball will change things up a bit.

Compared with some of the other photos I've seen, my knitting is uneven and the whole thing looks extra lumpy and misshapen along the edges. I know that's probably due to me still being a beginner. How much will blocking fix this?
