1191  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: Let's see your sewing machine!! on: January 25, 2007 11:48:25 PM
toyota...as in the car company?

No idea if they're anything to do with the car people Cheesy  I suspect not though.  Here's a website selling their machines:

Edit: according to Wikipedia:

Although the Toyota Group is best known today for its cars, it is still in the textile business and still makes automatic looms, which are now fully computerized, and electric sewing machines which are available worldwide.

This is mine:

Toyota 21DES.  It's not very fancy but it does the job!  I would like an overlocker but really don't know which one to go for.  If I can hold out till June my boyfriend might be persuaded to get me one for my birthday!

(Edited - I thought it was an ESG21 but on checking tonight, I found it was actually a 21DES.  Duh!)

Your rug looks great!  The colours are lovely.

And Lily is gorgeous Smiley

Ooh... that's awesome!  My boyfriend is a huge Miyazaki fan, he would love one of these.  I better not let him see this or he'll demand I make him one.
