I love the ice cream set.  Recently I saved a cuddle sack that is like an ice cream cone.    It's ironic that you made the Minnie mouse set.  The diaper cover is on my hook almost finished just attached the skirt and in same colors.  Need to make polka dots to add to hat and skirt.  I'm thinking of making some stuff to take to a local photographer for photo props to sell.  I've saved a lot on my Pinterest account for babies.  My next project is either a football cuddle sack or a giraffe set.

A couple at church are expecting their first child,a little girl.  So I decided to fill in time with crocheting her some baby items.  At her shower she received a crochet afghan from her BFF's grandmother and I did not want to give her another one.  These are the items that I gave her today.  She was so excited and was in love with the booties and sandals.  I told her I had several more sandals to make her but was struggling with the pattern.  Made 5 different booties with same pattern and not a one matched each other.  LOL!!!!!  Pay no attention to date on pictures.  Too Lazy to set camera.

This is the first time I have ever been able to do a ripple of any kind.
These actually worked up quickly.

The picture doesn't show the hat well.  It was called a turban hat.  There is three rows of chain stitches that are bundled together.  Some have called it a butterfly stitch.

I love this pattern and it worked up in an evening of watching NCIS reruns.

I have all the pattern links on my Pinterest account.  http://pinterest.com/tielforrest/crochet-baby/

I love these types of blankets.  Seen several patterns around and would love to make one.  My patience level is like in the negative.  I can crochet a baby blanket in 2 days to 2 weeks depending on emotional level.  Meaning I am a sucker for making something for someone who is pregnant.  LOL!!!  Became frustrated with the fact that it got back to me that I was cheap because I make stuff.  Guess what if I can't make something from my heart you get nothing.  Crocheting is my way of relaxing and keeping childhood memories of my grandmother alive.  Give me homemade any day.  If you can't make it buy me the stuff and I will be happy to make it for myself.

I love this.....  I saw one with the name on it and thought how cleaver.

Love these scarves.  The recycled t-shirt is particularly clever and looks really good. I also like the trellis and rose scarves and the cupcake one is a lot of fun.  Wishing you all the best for 2013.

That came off youtube while searching for something else.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNSpYGXPqiY

That is the best Trellis yarn idea I've seen yet. I think I have some in my stash but hadn't found a project I liked yet. Great job on all your scarves!

I got the pattern off Pinterest. http://justanotherhangup.blogspot.com/2012/04/trellis-necklace-tutorial.html?m=1

Thank-you everyone.  I hope things turn around soon at the first of year.  Personally I would also like homemade gifts.  When people ask me want I want for BD and Christmas I say anything homemade or 2 skeins of yarn.

These are so lovely.  The giftees are very lucky!

Thank-you.  The poncho set is for a little girl at church.  The long ruffle scarf is mine.  LOL!!  But the others will be gifted out.

Another Christmas coming and feeling the economic crunch.   Lost my job last month.  Seems like no matter what I can't catch a break this time of year.  The bottom falls out and I rely on my creativity for Christmas.  Luckily I caught a good yarn sale 3 years ago and have yarn to work with.  All patterns I got off the internet surfing were free.

I really like these hats.  The first and the fifth are my favorites.  Did you get the pattern from the net?  I made a couple with the bill but they come out crooked for some reason even with plastic canvas.

Did you use a pattern for this hat?  I like the pinwheel affect.  Being 46 yrs old why am I still in love with the sock monkey?  LOL
