Chubby fingers or not these are some of the easiest things I have ever made. I'm going to post a tutorial thing now.

First make a star shcped thing for the center.


Then make petals...


and add them one by one to the flower


Eventually you'll have a flower


Then use something to make a hole, I just poked one of these things into it


Let it dry for two or three days then paint it or seal it however you want.
