I made this very cool rainbow wrap for my sister! It's triangular like a shawl ...

... but can also be a scarf!

Enjoy!

2  My Wedding Dress (Midnight Lace by Doris Chan) in Crochet: Completed Projects by Lindsey goes to eleven on: January 02, 2012 01:15:22 PM
I made my own wedding dress!

The pattern is the Midnight Lace Dress by Doris Chan, published in the March 2008 issue of Crochet! magazine. I used an ivory/white worsted weight cotton, and it took me about two weeks. Instead of running the ribbon through the neck, I opted for more of a flapper look and wore it low on my hips. (It seemed to give more shape that way.)

Thank you for letting me share!

6  Rusty disco baby blanket in Crochet: Completed Projects by Lindsey goes to eleven on: August 12, 2010 06:08:52 AM
I guess there's really no better way to describe this project. My friend's having a baby girl, and when I asked her color preferences for a blanket, she said, "No pink." So I used the most antibaby colors I could find: pea green, honey, dusty rose, and espresso (all Vanna's Choice).

The blanket, while blocking. (I added an espresso border to even the edges out.)

And the matching hat.

Enjoy!

A very sweet couple in my apartment building just had a baby girl, so I made a blanket and hat.

Small caveatI just moved in, so I don't remember the couple's names or their apartment numberonly the floor they live on. Fingers crossed I run into them again!
