I received yesterday, I put pictures in my gallery, I'll try to get pictures of the container and such tomorrow when it is sunny out (hoping for sunny) Link above to my gallery of all the other pictures there are 15 pictures in there so I figure I'm being nice to bandwidth and servers
My original jar idea had to be filed away in the 'fail' department would have been awesome if I could have gotten it to work but it just didn't It's ok though because I have another idea that I was working on independently that I think I could work into being my jar going to play with it tonight I could really use some good ol crafty time
We were all new to the internet at some point . I thought i would help It took a little creative thinking on my part but I worked out where your photos were but I found them and thought I'd help you share them
to get them into your main post, you can copy and paste the part I show below, and on your description of your fairy, there is a spot that says 'modify' paste this information in there and hit 'post'. It'll get your pictures up where you want them to be
I think they turned out really good Depending on what type of paint they are it would vary on how to remove it, I use screenprinter spray for things but I use inks when I play so I don't know if it would work with paint or not
I so wish I could play this year I had a blast with it last year. But there is a good chance I will have too much on my volunteer plate to give it the attention that I think it would need to be something I'd be proud to send out.
I hope you all have such a good time with it (and kisses to Miss Kish she's awesome and some to babe and Gomer too lol)
I was bored one morning (or procrastinating over cleaning off the table) and decided to toy around and make some things with the stuff I was meant to be putting up, the following is the result of that. They incorporate lots of stuff into them clay resin ink pigment etc... And I've listed them in order of how much I like them lol. They are very different from what I normally do but I quite love them. Now just to decide if I am the kind of girl that can get away with wearing them. Thoughts and opinions most appreciated!
It's my understanding that this is how it is being handled (I didn't bother to read through all this so someone else may have already said) I learned this from a higher up walmart employee.
If your walmart has a sporting goods section that sells guns it will keep the fabric in the craft department, if there are no guns there is no fabric. I've paid attention to the ones I've been to and this seems to ring true in my experiences so far.
The only rationality I can make of this is it's the only place you can shop for guns and fabric at the same time. "Honey I need me a new rifle" (pause) "ok let me grab my purse cause I can grab some fabric while we're there"
And no I'm really not making fun of rednecks or walmart shoppers, I am a born and bred redneck. And this is a perfectly logical statement to me.
To be a 'friendlier walmart' new stores (and many of the remodels in Urban areas) will not have guns or fabric. But walmart started in smaller communities where hunting is common and during that time crafting was very much a country sport (particularly quilting) so it made sense to have these together to cater to both the men and women. Since making the move into urban areas the gun market is met by larger chains (eg: cabellas) and the need for fabric is often found in other areas (eg: joanns) so they sell less of these items in bigger communities and there is no market for them in the eyes of the corporate giant.
I've been swamped with a massive volunteer undertaking, lots of work but well worth the effort. Hoping since hubby is off tomorrow I can go get my saw blade and get him to help me cut the thing I need to cut
