That is wonderful!  I always get penguins and pelicans confused when I need their name out of my brain really fast!   Grin

I agree, you can never have enough glitter or sparkle!

How about a nice light green leaf with the names printed on them by hand?  You could make the leaf from fabric, wonder-under 2 layers of fabric together and then cut out a simple leaf shape.  Or buy a silk plant with lots of leaves, cut them off, write on them and hot glue them to the daisy.  Simple!
133  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Quart Mason Jars on: January 21, 2007 07:08:02 AM
I have a blue jar filled with beeswax candles and matches for when the power goes off.  Mounted in the zinc lid is a brass fitting that holds one candle upright when it's taken off the jar.  It's sort of an emergency kit and makes a great gift.

Another one holds a small felt deer -it is like a snow-globe with no water.  It's a cool decoration.  Has some greenery, fimo snowballs, etc, along with the snow.

Another Arkansan here- I live in the woods near Eureka Springs.  Moved here from FL about 17 years ago.  I rarely go to Fayetteville anymore since Rogers has grown so much in the last few years.

Lucky kids attending that party.  Those are great wings, the best I've ever seen, period.  Good job!
136  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: "Big Tuna" chalk board on: January 19, 2007 02:51:19 PM
That is a great chalkboard!  Love it.

If it was mine, I'd paint a little tall seaweed on the sides and maybe some fish bones at the bottom, along with a few bubbles.  Some peeps say less is more, I believe that more is more!   Grin

I wonder if fabric dye would take?  I would mix some up in hot water in a bucket  and immerse the wings into it, let sit for a minute or 2 and then let them drip dry.

You could do a test sample with a bowl of hot water and just a little bit of dye before mixing a whole batch.
