1  Arizona / Arizona: Central / Crafy opportunity to sell your stuff in Phoenix! on: August 22, 2006 07:29:39 PM
Hey Hey ladies of pho-town! My good friends at the Candle and Gift Factory Outlet are going to try something new this holiday season - every weekend they are going to have an open air market in their parking lot and they are looking for people who make hand made goods who might want a booth space. If you are unfamiliar with the store, its hugely popular during the holidays - best hand made candles in town - and every holiday season they draw thousands of people for their annual sidewalk sales. This will be an extension of it - a great chance for you to have a booth where there will be tons and tons of shoppers!

PM me if you have any interest and I'll get you some details - I think the sales will be every Saturday starting some time in November through Christmas - which is super packed - if you have wonderful hand made goods - this is a stellar opportunity!

2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Switchplate-a-palooza (img-hvy) on: April 21, 2006 10:35:02 PM
Okay - so after participating in the very fun Pimp My Switchplate Swap - I got inspired to use some of my lovely paper collection and cover a planet of switchplates! (I'm a paper whore and - can't stockpile enough of it and can't ever throw out even scraps - this was a fun way to use some of the odds and ends pieces). Some will end up being sold, and some will end up as gifts. Its was super easy and fun - and a great way to doll up something boring and utilitarian. Enjoy!

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / vintage patterns galore - trade for love? on: September 10, 2004 01:10:10 AM
First - let me appologize if this is either the wrong area to post, or completely inappropriate...

From my incurable habit of ephemera collecting I have several vintage knitting magazines - dating from the 40's through the 60's - with AMAZING patterns - just about every kind of item - skirts, shawls, sweaters - the usual suspects - and even some *super* cute hats - I think I even have some pretty hot patterns for the gents (early 60's mostly) - if you are a vintage fashion whore like me, you will no doubt dig these.

But here's my problem - I don't knit!

I would be happy to scan some for those who might be interested - doubly so if some brave soul were to maybe construct one of the lovely hats in exchange? PM me if this is of interest - I'm happy to share regardless -  it breaks my heart to see these beauties go to waste.....
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / found object toys - these are my friends!!! on: August 25, 2004 09:29:24 PM
First post - so I'm sorry if this comes out wonky!

Here are a few of my friends that I thought I'd share... they are little dollies made from found objects. Originally I intended for them to be characters for a short story... perhaps one day they will make it to stop motion heaven...

Just wanted to give a little back to all of the amazing inspiration I've gotten here - love ya'all! (sorry they came out so giant!)
