Finally finished a quilt today, I started piecing it about a year ago.

The tooth fabric is an Alexander Henry. It's long out of print- I found it on etsy.

Sadly, no. I got too excited to give it away. Won't make that mistake again!

I'm a little bit in love with this. I wonder if I can make one in time for Christmas? I've got a very bacon-y friend.

I made this a few months ago for a dear friend's newborn. The backing and white fabric are organic, and I used the organic cotton and bamboo batting, but I wanted to use some fun things too. All told, there are 22 different fabrics- although the pics don't show the different bindings.

I embroidered the baby's name in english and hebrew, her astrological sign, and the latitude and longitude of her birthplace.
