At this moment in life, I'm jobless. I get bored of searching the web and watching television. So what do I do? I make a mess in my room and make loads of earrings!

These first earrings used to be old clip on earrings. The clip on part made my ears hurt, but I still wanted to wear them.


These earrings, I made for a friend. Just some simple green buttons, green beads, and gold-ish beads.


I haven't found a use for many of my mini shells that I gained after deconstructing a couple of old necklaces that I used to wear. I did finally make these out of some. Now I just need to make a gajillion more.


These.. These I really like. Blue beads and buttons.


These make me feel kind of Christmas-y. White and red beads & red buttons.



Most of the beads I got from old necklaces/bracelets. And for the buttons, I have a nice sized jar full of them waiting to be used. I hope you like these.

It was high time that I went through my necklaces and a couple bracelets in my jewelry box. I found the necklaces I didn't wear (A lot of which were shell necklaces) and took them apart. This is what I made:

I made another slouchy hat (not quite as slouchy as I thought, but it's alright). I think it's pretty snazzy, and I'm kinda sad because I'm going to give it to one of my friends. I'm proud of my second attempt. I'm still trying to perfect making these. Every time I've made one, I make it differently, haha.

This is the first challenge that I've ever done; so, here goes nothin'!
I was a little excited about this challenge because I have oodles and oodles of pop tabs and Popsicle sticks. I couldn't think of anything to make at first, but I just started fiddling with things and this is what occurred:

A fun little art piece to put up in my house or outside (I haven't decided)!


It's made of Popsicle sticks, pop tabs, pipe cleaners, a fun ad I found in an old magazine, buttons, and lovely glue. The clothespin is detachable because I just like detachable things, haha.
I always like to have fun art hanging in my room, and I thought this captured my personality well.





It reminds me of those Spring days when you go outside to hang out with yourself on the hammock while having a lovely cig and perhaps a book at hand. It's pretty much represents my perfect Spring day.

I saw a post that made me feel I had a shot at making a slouchy type hat (motivational post ~> http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=331667.0 )
I attempted to base mine off of that, but me being weird mine didn't turn out as nice.

I didn't know where to put this, or if these are considered tapestry, but I think they are. Haha.
I have some obsession with trees, and I will randomly make tapestry type things.
They are basically big pieces of fabric with smaller pieces sewn on top.

I've only made three, because I'll get really motivated to cut the pieces out, but it takes me forever to get around to sewing them

I made this little green owl for one of my friends. He really likes owls.
This is the first time in a long time that I hand sewed something, but I think it still looks dandy!
I kinda wanna keep it.

My friend is coming down for Halloween, & I owe him a tree tapestry. Since those take me forever to make, I made him a tree pillow!
It may not be the greatest thing, but I want to keep it, haha.
There is a little owl in the tree because he really likes them.

I've always wanted to make a jean bag, but I unfortunately don't have any old jeans or know anyone with old jeans they'd like to give me. Instead, I'm stuck with my brother's old khakis. With a little bit of hand sewing and a little machine sewing those khakis came to form this creation:

I realize that the khaki side is very boring; I haven't quite thought about what I would want to do with it.
My friend tells me to just keep it reversed; that way I will have pockets on the inside of my purse. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, but hopefully some idea pops up.

Whenever I get bored, you can usually find me crocheting an afghan/blanket or playing WoW.
I've made a few over the past year or so, and I decided that I would share them.

I only really know how to crochet granny squares, so my afghans/blankets are usually either just a big granny square or lots of little ones put together.

This first one, I ran out of the original green I started with, and I had it for a long long time. I couldn't find the exact green to match it, so I just grabbed some from the store. I still like it & it does it's purpose =P



This is one I made for my brother for his birthday. His favorite color is green. I started with three small granny squares in the middle then treated those just like a regular granny square.



I had a grab bag of balls of yarn for this one and the next blanket. I don't look when I grab the yarn out, and whatever happens happens.

I advise everyone to make a grab bag blanket/afghan at some point, I find it so fun. And it's a way to use up balls of yarn that you don't quite know what to do with. I'm working on another one now, and it's coming out to be very random and fun.
