1  Re: I <3 Coffee/Tea Round 6 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by dealupa on: July 01, 2009 05:53:38 PM
Totally worth the wait!  I've got my pics from my swap stuff from gemusia!  And it was a  lovely package, too Smiley

Five delightful, aromatic teas from a place called Five O'clock: English Breakfast, Pu-er (sp?) refreshment, Assam Deflating, Five O'clock No. 2, and (the one I'm trying first!) Margharita (it smells divine).

And for the crafting--the most lovely, delicate coasters!  Four mug coasters and one larger one for a tea pot.  I think they're tatted (which I find wicked impressive--I don't think I'd ever have the patience for that craft) or possibly crocheted with a teeny tiny hook 'n thread.

Here are the wonderful items panul made for me Smiley  We decided to do a bit extra--and boy did she!  Everything she made is so beautiful.  My pictures don't do them justice.  But here they are.

All together now:

Over-the-shoulder bag with tasty veggies and little money purse inside!:

Amazing papercut farmer with corn (now decorating my wall):

Edible-looking tomato paperweight (she designed it herself!):

Bright and bold eyeglass case (with my sunglasses):

Beautiful apron with salad-y details:

(the pocket says: "Fresh is Best"---so true!)

I'm so pleased with EVERYTHING!

4  Pear & Blueberry Etched Jars in Glass Crafts: Completed Projects by dealupa on: April 03, 2008 08:50:05 AM
Here are a couple of glass jars I etched, one with a pear theme, the other with a blueberry theme.

I made the stencil with masking tape, a marker, and a craft knife (my fingers got sore . . . but I think it was worth it)

The pear blossom is my favorite (I shoved the camera bag into the jar for contrast)
