1  Handmade Warcraft Spell bracelet in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Ickle_1 on: July 01, 2008 09:52:18 PM
This is my very first clay creation, usually I like to sew, but I thought I would give it a try!

These are handmade square "beads" made with Sculpy clay, baked, then handpainted. I am a World of Warcraft addict and I absolutely love this, as the designs are my spells in-game!

Innervate and Healing Touch

Healing Touch, Regrowth, Nature's Swiftness

Rebirth, Tranquility, Rejuvenation (I'm a healer if you couldn't tell)

I know the connection is really messy but you really aren't supposed to see it anyway Smiley

Love to hear some feedback because I am thinking about making these for my boyfriend and his brother, as they play WoW too.

Thanks for looking!

4  Oh I how I love thee (messenger bag) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Ickle_1 on: September 04, 2007 07:37:30 AM
This is BY FAR the most wonderful, most professional, most gorgeous thing I have ever made. It took a little over five hours (minus cutting the fabric) and I am so excited to show it off. I can't wait to hear what everyone thinks.

The bag:

5  Black and White flowers and leaves top in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Ickle_1 on: August 18, 2007 08:21:34 AM
Ok, this is try #2. (Try #1: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=190562.0). I used the same exact pattern *my own* only I lengthened the straps and used some more complex fabric arrangements (meaning I used more than one kind, lol).

I REALLY love this. I have to make like...30 more. Its so comfortable. I think I am going to wear it tomorrow to a birthday party and see if I get any comments.

Here we go:

Front:

Back (the seam isn't crooked, its just bunched up under my butt):

Fabric (which, was FREE. A gift from a lady my mom works with):

A close up:

Again, I really love this top and I would love to hear what everyone thinks. Thanks for looking.

6  Pink and red pleated tote in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Ickle_1 on: August 17, 2007 06:28:19 PM
My cousin asked me a LONG time ago to make her a bag, but I haven't gotten around to getting the colors she wanted. So I figured, I'll make her something really cute then when I get her fabrics, I'll make her exactly what she wants.

So here is the cutest thing I think I've ever made.

Her name is Bethany, so a B!

And I realize that the pocket is super messy. I meant it that way.

The adorable bow:

TEH ACTION SHOT!

Comments appreciated. Thanks for looking!

7  My first decent attempt at clothing! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Ickle_1 on: August 16, 2007 04:54:43 PM
You know, halfway through making this, I was thinking, "This is going all wrong, its not going to fit, it was a waste of time, why don't I just stick to bags??"

But I am very happy with it, considering the first piece of clothing I ever made was...well...garbag e.

Its made from some very old fabric a friend of mine gave me. The colors were just screaming to be made into something wearable.

Thanks so much for looking. Comments and criticism is very welcome.

8  My day off: El burro handbag, flowers/butterflies tote in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Ickle_1 on: August 15, 2007 03:23:04 PM
I had today off from work and I am a little stressed about a few things, and there is nothing more therapeutic than sewing on a whim. Now I just have to figure out who to give these to, I am running out of places to put all these bags!

My little El Burro handbag:

Fabric:

Inside:

Pockets *I got the idea for these pockets because when I make myself a little bag, my pockets are never tall enough, so I figured, why not make them the same height as the bag?*:

And my tote, featuring little blue butterflies:

9  Green, Pink, and White Patchwork Tote in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Ickle_1 on: August 13, 2007 04:36:29 PM
I worked on this for two days, and I really like it, but I feel bad because it would have been so much better with interfacing, but I don't have any and can't afford any! Oh well. I still like it.

Back:

Tie Closure:

Inside *Had to rep the HP fans!*:

My first tag:

Thanks, everyone for looking. Feedback, as always, is appreciated!

10  Wow, I haven't posted in ages! El Burro will make up for that! TUT LINK ADDED in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Ickle_1 on: August 08, 2007 09:00:37 AM
I have been so busy with work and getting ready to go back to school, I just haven't had time to make hardly anything! I made this last week but am just now getting around to posting it.

A lady I work with gave me this fabric. She found it in her house when she moved in and asked if I wanted it because it was ugly and she wouldn't use it.

When she brought it to me, I thought she was bonkers. Its so cute!

Here you are:

The outside. I didn't take a picture of the back, but it has an image of a Mexican guitar.

The little man riding El Burro.

Inside the main pocket. *A little secret, that datebook is hiding my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Pez dispenser*

Inside the zipper pocket. I was so excited how the pocket turned out. I have never been able to make a bag with more than one compartment other than little pockets before. Its so neat and I am really proud.

I'd love to hear what you think about it!

Oh and one last little bit. I did no measuring whatsoever. I went by the length of the zipper! Haha.
