Sólstafir are sort of a viking metal band, but they're pretty different compared to other bands that are considered "viking metal".  ^^

sk8grll:  Yay! ^_^  It's always cool to find another Diru fan!  Mostly when I am asked about my tattoos and start explaining, people kind of glaze over because they have no idea what I'm talking about. ^^;;

Myaku is an old song from the album "MACABRE".  It's a very good song, and album.
I have been listening to Diru 10 years as of this coming fall, so yeah....I'm old, though. ^^;

Yep, the bottom two kanji in that pic are kodou.
And yes, I listen to a lot of other Japanese bands!    I have a last.fm page where you can see what I listen to a lot.  I don't know anyone else in my town that likes J-rock, but I know there are a lot of fans in the area because there is always a big turn out at any J-rock show in Chicago or anywhere around here.
Oddly enough, there is an Icelandic band that I like!  Are you familiar with Sólstafir?  They're really great.   

oh cool, i mostly listen to withering to death and six ugly (i love bio shin haha) and there was another album too.. or was that gazette? sometimes i mix them up >.>

the only person i know that likes j rock is my friend who made me listen to it in the first place haha.

i've never heard of sólstafir! which is weird since supposedly i live here lol.
