1  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / What's your favorite place to shop online? on: June 10, 2008 09:14:18 AM
....and why?

I found part of a Moda line in one store I stopped in this weekend, but can't find it at any of my other local stores.  It's perfect for a project I have in mind.  I'm hoping I can find the rest of it somewhere online, as I bought too much to just let this go!   TIA....
2  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Rag quilt problem on: April 10, 2008 02:02:20 PM
I finished my first rag quilt a few weeks ago....and right after, I noticed a couple of places where the seam was coming apart.  I figured I must have accidentally snipped the thread in a couple of places, so I stitched them back up -- no big deal.  However, as the days go by, these holes are popping up ALL OVER the quilt!  What is going on??  I know I didn't snip that many seam threads!  Did I use the wrong type of thread (Coates Double-Duty)?  I feel like I have re-sewn practically the whole dang thing!

Anyone have this happen to them???
