Has anyone ordered from brambleberry.com? Where do you get your melt and pour soap supplies?
I'm looking to get a little bit of everything but I can't find a lot in Michael's and Joann's.
Thanks for the help!

53  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Big ole Square on: March 06, 2007 05:57:40 PM
I did this lap blanket as one big granny square- it is boucle yarn with a size 6 hook.

What do you think? I've given one as a wedding gift to a great response but the couple this one is going to is kind of picky.....should I still give it?

55  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Super Easy Vodka Sauce on: January 16, 2007 01:07:02 PM
Vodka Cream Sauce is my hubbies fav and I cheated at making it and he loved it more than when I slaved away! So I thought I'd share the success.

-Chop up 4 or 5 slices of bacon and let them fry up but stop before they are crispy
   - pour out the grease but keep cooking in the same pan
-Add a chopped shallot, 2 cloves of garlic chopped (I love garlic so sometimes I add a lot more but it'd be just as good with less), and a tablespoon of butter
- Add 1/2 cup of chicken stock and let it cook down
- When that seems to have lessened add a shot or 2 of vodka
-let that simmer down and then add a jar of spaghetti sauce (I like a sweeter sauce like Newman's Own Sockarooni)
- Mix it all together and let it heat through
-Then add heavy cream in slowly till it is orange
-Taste and then add more heavy cream if needed

Then you just have to add it to whatever pasta you love (we do the standard penne)!
