1  COOKING / Dessert / Chia Seed Pudding on: December 31, 2013 08:41:15 AM
Chia Seed Pudding
Happy New Year! Here is a healthy easy treat to help ring in 2014!

* Warning if you don't like the texture of tapioca pudding - this isn't for you. *

3 TBS chia seeds
1 cup milk ( I used whole because it was in the fridge)
Seasonings ( I used a dash of cinnamon and a splash of vanilla)

Combine- I put mine in a shaker.
Place in fridge.
Stir after an hour or so- I left mine in overnight for a breakfast treat but would make a yummy dessert.

Will sugar scrub turn? (olive oil and sugar with essential oil)
Should it be kept in the fridge?

I want to make a batch but also don't want to end up losing it bc i did something silly like keep it on the counter.

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Button Hair Tie How To on: October 05, 2009 06:08:25 PM

I recently decided to try my hand at button making- as advertised I'm hooked! One of my favorite supply stops had everything I needed so I said what the heck!
First you need the cover button tool, the button parts, and some fabric (or wide ribbon). I also made a template for how much fabric I needed for super speedy cutting.

Next put your fabric in the white part and slide in the top
I trimmed a bunch off the top after just be careful you don't trim too close.

Slide in your back piece folding in your ends of the fabric. Put your pusher on top and well push.

Pop out your new button! To turn it into a hair tie keep going!
Take a hair tie and slide it in the button wire.

Slide the hair tie through the hair tie so you get a knot

Continue until your little heart's desire Smiley
Be Warned you will make 50 without thinking about it!
