21  "Le Slouch" (Image Heavy) in Knitting: Completed Projects by Quad Mom on: April 14, 2007 05:09:50 PM
I used Lion Brand Cotton-Ease (50/50 cotton & acrylic).  I highly recommend the yarn!  I decided not to do the seed stitch (it's takes a lot longer).  This is a great pattern and easy knit: awesome for bad hair days!  Comments?  Suggestions?   Smiley

Another pair of Irish Hiking Mitts in Patons Chunky Shetland Tweed on size 7's.  They knit up very warm in this yarn!

24  More Irish Hiking Fingerless Mitts in Knitting: Completed Projects by Quad Mom on: February 16, 2007 05:20:15 PM
Someone earlier posted this as her first cabling knit (in a beautiful red yarn).  I like this pattern a lot because it knits up fast and looks great.  There are a lot of cabled fingerless mitts out there, but I really like the cables in this pattern.  Knit with worsted weight Wool-Ease.

25  iPod Nano Case in Knitting: Completed Projects by Quad Mom on: January 27, 2007 05:48:01 PM
My husband gave me (very unexpectedly) a pink nano last Thanksgiving for getting an "A" on a microeconomics exam (not my forte).  I just recently had time to finish a sock for it.  The yarn is Moda Dea Sassy Stripes (cool yarn!) done on size 3 circs with 2x2 ribbing at the top.
