Of course I thought you had made a purse shaped like poop.
Very pretty and totally practical.

What a cool idea!
I guess you don't know what country your cute bear ends up in.

I like the eyes too!
307  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Amigurumi-along? on: February 06, 2007 09:49:22 AM
Eelita, she is really cute so far....did you end up giving her a little
cosmetic surgery to her head?

I went ahead and made the mouse, I figured it was a good first project anyways.
Is there still interest in this Amigurumi-along? (not sure how these CAL work)
308  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Crochet Hook Cover Crochetalong on: February 06, 2007 06:29:36 AM
Thanks Mountain-waif
I haven't had any problems with my hooks catching probably because the hook parts
aren't covered (other than by the flap).
Fabric covers would be very cool...you could use felt and go simple
or even add just a bit of embroidery. I'd love to see the results!
309  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: ????? Happy hooker beginner projects?????? on: February 05, 2007 04:38:42 PM
I am learning how to crochet using The Happy Hooker.
I agree that it is best to carefully go over the beginning section which carefully lays out each stitch, working in rounds and spirals, etc. I found it was quite easy and straightforward and understood it well enough to adapt the monkey ipod cozy pattern.
