This is the first time I have done any hand sewing or any embroidery. The book opens to hold needles and buttons. I made it for a swap along with a crocheted cupcake pincushion.
I was surprised at how easy and fast these were to make. They were also easy to adjust to get a nice fit. I love this yarn so these will be my 'good' pair but I will also make another in a washable blend to use while walking my dogs or feeding the birds, etc.
Well I had to adjust this pattern quite a bit because my teapot is smaller but I am really happy with my first attempt especially since I am a beginner.
I didn't have the right yarn so worked with what I had. I would like to make more for Christmas presents. Hopefully my technique will improve with each one. ann
I love this pouch...finally got around to making myself one and I use it all the time. I added a small flower on top. Thanks so much for this pattern! I'll definitely make more of these!
Well I wasn't going to post my dragon until I got beads for his eyes but this may take a while as I have no transportation at the moment so here he is. My sons (19 and 23) really like him. Thanks for the wonderful pattern! I love him!
Eelita, she is really cute so far....did you end up giving her a little cosmetic surgery to her head?
I went ahead and made the mouse, I figured it was a good first project anyways. Is there still interest in this Amigurumi-along? (not sure how these CAL work)
