11  2 amiurumi boys in dinosaur suits in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by sukigirl74 on: June 05, 2009 11:59:14 AM
I made these two little guys (6 inches tall) for my next door neighbours who are 2 and 4 years old.
The pattern is from Owlish http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26023313
and I was really happy with the results.

12  Re: WALL-E and Eve-- Now with patterns! in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by sukigirl74 on: June 03, 2009 06:10:35 AM
This is a fabulous pattern, you are very talented to be able to figure these out.
My son got Wall-e and now I need to make Eve for his girlfriend.

13  Clothesline bag to hold your pegs (link to free pattern) in Crochet: Completed Projects by sukigirl74 on: May 27, 2009 06:52:44 AM
My old store-bought bag that held my clothes pegs finally died (I guess it didn't like being outside every winter) so I thought that I would crochet a new one.
I thought it would be fun to put a clothesline filled with clothes on the bag so this is what I came up with.

The bag itself is super easy, it's really just a large rectangle with a hole in it.
And the clothes are simple shapes made with pretty yarn.
I'm really happy with how it all came out so here is the free patterns:

14  Wall-e (with pattern link) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by sukigirl74 on: April 14, 2009 05:09:08 AM

I made him using this great pattern from sunshineravioli http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=291351.0

I made some small changes to the pattern but did change his eyes quite a bit.
I tried so many different ways to crochet his eyes and finally I just made a base of polymer clay and covered it in crochet.
I also made his neck with wire (again covered in yarn) so that his eyes could be moved around.
He is just 2 1/2 inches tall.
I made him for my 24 year old son as a surprise..... when I finished him I just popped him on his computer desk.
I was really happy with the reaction I got.

15  Hoot owl and his sweater (free pattern link) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by sukigirl74 on: March 12, 2009 07:05:52 AM

Hoot is only 2 1/2 inches wide and could be made smaller or larger by changing yarn and hook size.
He was inspired by the knitted owls that I saw on Ravelry called Oh Balls.
I thought it would be fun to come up with a crochet version since my knitting skills aren't great.

I posted the free pattern on my blog...it is untested so please let me know if you find any mistakes.

17  A wee mushroom house (with free pattern link) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by sukigirl74 on: January 30, 2009 01:28:24 PM

I made it from this great free pattern
I added a magnet inside its trunk so that it would stand up when the top part is filled.
I also added a little door that I made with some yarn and topped it off with a little chimney.
I may make more for my desk to help me organize my paperclips, etc

19  Barack Obama lives at my house (free pattern link) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by sukigirl74 on: December 16, 2008 11:03:39 AM
I think he's lost a little height (he's 2 1/2 inches)
but looks a little chubbier since he won the election.

20  One-Skein scarf (with free pattern link) in Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller by sukigirl74 on: December 14, 2008 01:04:21 PM
I love the look of it rolled up like a flower

or you can wrap it once or twice around your neck.

I found this to be an easy and fun pattern.
