1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Crystal earrings, a bracelet and a pendant on: September 04, 2007 04:29:33 AM

I like how these turned out.  They are somewhat fragile, but being all growed up now, I think I can be careful enough with them. Cheesy

I have more of the same style crystals so I am planning to try a few different ways to incorporate them into my jewellery.

Hi,

I have been very inspired by all of you here, so I have been playing around with all my stuff.

I normally don't name my jewellery, but this first wire wrapped pendant kind of named itself....lol

Alien Influence

These rings were made using free wire wrapping tutorials online.  The lower three are from Preston Reuther's free video tutorial.

Some memory wire bracelets...

This next beaded bracelet is from a kit I bought.  It's called "Autumn Tone Chantilly Bracelet:

...and I made some matching earrings with the left over beads...

This last pair of earrings were inspired by a post here! I can't find them again though. So if you made some like these, THANK YOU for the inspiration - I loved them (obviously).  (If someone knows who they were, please let me know and I will add the proper credit in my post.

Thanks also to Matthew.  I used your photography tips, and for the most part I think they worked great. Smiley

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / More painted beads... (6 pics) on: January 23, 2007 02:16:26 PM
I posted the last bracelet in the other forum, but I think they really belong here.

They started out like this:

Now I have....

A flower bracelet...

A zebra bracelet...

...with a matching necklace.

And a silver/purple design - my sister's favourite colours. It's her birthday.

Necklace...

...bracelet and earrings.

Thanks for looking. Smiley
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Wire wrapped ring (1 pic) on: January 22, 2007 08:23:04 PM
This is my first wire wrapped ring.  It's surprisingly comfortable.

I wanted to try that wire wrap pattern on the band.  I don't know what it is called. It was going ok, so when it was long enough for a ring band, I thought, "What the heck do I do with it now?"

I fiddled with it a bit more, added some spirals and whaddaya know?  It didn't turn out half bad.

Now, I KNOW that it's a bit lopsided...that adds charm, ok?...lol

Oh, and please excuse the extensive photoshopping, I couldn't help myself...lol

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / I tried the Fried Marble. :) (2 pics inside) on: January 11, 2007 06:48:14 PM
My wire wrapping needs work, but I figure it's not bad for a first attempt.

In the second photo I lit the pendant from below.  I think it looks so cool like that.

Thanks for looking.

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Bracelet - Hand Painted Beads on: January 11, 2007 04:22:38 AM
Hi all. Smiley

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the Reconstructed board.  The beads were from an old broken car seat thingy.

It was so simple, but I love the way it turned out.  My 14yo DD and I have already had our first argument over who got to wear it today.

So I am a wuss....she won...lol
