31  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: convertible scarf on: February 22, 2010 01:03:15 AM
This is super, I love those colors. The wooden buttons are a perfect choice, too Cheesy

As for dyeing, if you dye the roving before it's spun you get a different color pattern than when you dye the yarn later. Worth experimenting with for sure Smiley
32  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Haiku-inspired tree embroidery on: February 21, 2010 05:47:46 PM
Very pretty, I like it's simplicity. Inside knowledge mixed with obscurity is always great, too. Only you and she will know exactly what it means but everyone else can still think it's beautiful Smiley
33  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / Re: Fiber Friday 2/19/10 on: February 20, 2010 11:16:41 PM
Yowza wowza, I am in love with the first one there, Veludo. The orangey pinkey is gorgeous! And I love love love that one little tiny bit that's purple and green plied together, I can imagine that skein being so beautiful knit up Cheesy Great yarns this week! I have to post mine soon, maybe next week.

OH! Any one going to Stitches in Santa Clara next weekend? I might get my very first spinning wheel! Can't wait to see more this week, everyone! <3
34  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Firefly Round 9 -signups through Feb. 23rd, sendouts March 23rd on: February 17, 2010 05:49:23 PM
Oh golly, I might have to sign up for this one on behalf of my boyfriend. His birthday is not too long after the send dates and this is a favorite show of his (mine too though, so I'll have to wait and see if I really want to part with whatever is sent Tongue ) How exciting! I haven't done a swap in a while..
35  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Some recent work, mostly silly... F-WORD on: January 23, 2010 02:11:09 AM
I feel the same way about cupcakes! I'm glad someone else said it Smiley The bulldog is to die for. (that makes me sound like i'm 80, doesn't it?) Love it all Smiley

...It made me laugh out loud for real and that is rare. Smiley I even read it out to my hubby and acted it out. Smiley ...

36  COOKING / Dessert / Re: 1st birthday dolly cake on: January 23, 2010 02:07:09 AM
Wowza! I remember my mom making my 3rd birthday cake decorated with those jeweled troll dolls (which proved my mom has the heart of a carebear) but this looks like you actually have skills Smiley Let's just say my mom never went professional...

But you totally could! this is so cool Tongue Lucky barbie in her prom dress Wink
37  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Re: My First Ever ATC'S! on: January 23, 2010 02:01:54 AM
I am beyond in love with thos creepster teeth! The blu lips are cool, the characters are just neat. Almost like misfit fable characters that you would totally want to be friends with. I can see them helping come up with practical jokes to play on the evil witch from the woods Wink You don'e need to be nervous, these are super!
38  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Woodland Whatsit Costume on: January 23, 2010 01:59:17 AM

39  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: we do what we must, because we can. on: January 23, 2010 01:55:27 AM
HUGE SUCCESS.

Ha! I was thinking that before I scrolled down all the way. I like the timing on this, I clicked into it as I'm watching a cake decorating show. They would make the most beautiful non-existent cake there ever lived.

I'm definitly going to be using that chart, love love love the hat. <3
40  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Yet Another Tattoo Swap (Sign-ups august 4th-18th, Send-outs September 18th) on: August 09, 2009 04:45:42 PM
I'm definitely wanting to do this but I don't know if I'll have enough time this month to finish 6 points! I know exactly what I would make (in accordance to my partner's wishes, of course Wink) but I'll have to wait and see Tongue Can't wait to see the gallery Cheesy
