1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Be Awesome Swap Gallery! on: July 09, 2010 06:50:20 PM
This was pretty much one of the coolest swaps ever Cheesy I loved making that quilt and it was so fun to see my odd stash of fabrics get a little smaller, too Cheesy I can't wait for next round either. It should give me enough time to take care of some other swappy obligations before I can join another swap. I gotta get on that!

Thanks organizers!

The colors on the bag are so fun! It's like autumn leaves except they got squished into stripes and are now working together to hold your stuff. lol. Awesome! I loved this swap!

I got the coolest set of coasters in the world (of Warcraft)! Belladune is the best partner, she found out I love WoW and she just had to make it her theme Cheesy She embroidered (so fine!!) some baby murlocs on a set of 4 coasters and colored them with crayons. How cool!! And she wet felted a tray to keep them in when I'm not drinking Conjured Glacier Water from flasks on my wonderful coasters (It's got +20 frost resist too, so I think I'm set!)

All together in action:

The tray: It's wet felted and has a really cool design on it, I've sort of thought of it as an all-seeing eye of Frost lol. Like the Eye of Sauron but for my coasters. Cause I'm a nerd.

The coasters (it's a matching set of four, my baby murloc quadruplets):

And a close up of the babies:

I love everything so much, thank you Belladune! <3 And I can't wait for you to get yours Smiley

Trix, I'm so glad you got your partner swap package and I want to say sorry again for my total fail. I just had way too much going on. I have to plan better next time. I'm still slowly working though. I'll be in contact for sure. Great packages everyone!
9  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Showtime Weeds Swap on: June 27, 2010 01:05:35 PM
Ah! Oh yeah. I forgot to throw in I was thinking a medium and a small or two. Even I'm sometimes intimidated by large swaps. But I'm not sure about a OTT swap either. We'll see how much interest this gets. I'm hoping to get some. It's a pretty popular show.

I would love this swap, and personally I hate OTT swaps.. I find them tedious and I don't like the restrictions that come with the word "tiny" but hey, I might not even be able to join the swap anyway Tongue But I certainly hope this gets off the ground because I would LOVE to see what people craft for this one Cheesy

Besides, I don't see any problems at all with this as a swap theme as long as we're all sensible and don't send people grams and pipes Wink Hehe.. Wouldn't that be something though.. Cheesy

Direct quote after showing these to my bf:

"THESE ARE SO F***ING CREEPY!!! I want 15 of them."

I think he likes them as much as I do. I'm definitely trying out your pattern, these are great!
