ooo!  i like this a lot, and i have 3 shirts from which i can do this!  awesome!  i think you might need bigger pics cause it took me a minute to figure ouy, oh duh, just click to enlarge.  i couldn't see how it was done at first, but i figured it out, clever!

wonderful result!  that devil is so good (no idea it was original).  i just LOVE the finish though, and the edges and stuff are perfect with it.

yes more than likely, people start off very tight.  crochet is good for certain things like lace trims.  i like amigurami too (sp?).  i've been seeing alot of crochet everywhere so i guess it's pretty popular.  you should think like a hippy when you do it.

ah nice, thanks for the pattern!  i think the whole idea is to make sure the inside and outside curve are the same length, right?  and i guess beyond that, the inside is much more acute so you end up with the beautiful flares.  i've been trying to figure this out from a skirt of mine with no luck.  this one came out great, love the two layers!
