1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: This may be the hardest item to recraft of all time! on: February 21, 2009 12:42:23 AM
Mine look like this (http://farm1.static.flickr.com/25/102139063_a1bdc2886b.jpg) and I was thinking that if you took the caps off, and put a little tiny fish or some other figurine in there, then pour in some of that resin stuff, drill a hole through the plastic at the top and make a pendant or something.
I'm strange...
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Modest Mouse Bathroom - Lots o' pics on: February 21, 2009 12:37:15 AM
OMG YOU HAVE JUST MADE MY LIFE'S GOAL KNOWN TO ME.

I freaking love Modest Mouse (seeing them in 2 weeks exactly!) and I was thinking that a "We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank" album cover tattoo would be awesome but a bathroom would be even better.

I am a fan of yours now. Jsyk...

I'm in Sylvan Park! My mother and I were planning on holding art classes in our house once we're all settled, I bet she'd be cool with a craftster meetup too.
4  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Flight of the Conchords + Project Runway's Tim Gunn Shirts on: July 01, 2008 02:09:02 PM
I realize now that I need to find someone a little...less busty to model my shirts.

Tim Gunn of Project Runway fame, with one of his many "helpful" mantras.

This is from the Flight of the Conchords' "Ladies of the World". I also have a "Redheads not Warheads" shirt that is unfinished. I'm not too keen on the placement of the "NOT BOMBS" part, so I'm probably going to fiddle around and do some more when I get my silkscreen.
5  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Eddie Izzard & South Park Related Shirts on: June 22, 2008 12:04:07 AM
Here's my Eddie Izzard inspired shirt, which I made just hours before seeing him perform live! I was really really hoping to get it signed by him, but he only did a Q&A after the show, no pictures or autographs, it was tons of fun anyway.

If you don't understand the tshirt then watch this clip:

I made this one for Christmas for my then boyfriend. I didn't do too great on the eyes and it's not very clean but he seemed to appreciate it anyway. If you're not familiar with the BATDAD, here's a clip from South Park (explicit language is used, this is South Park we're talking about here):

I'm going to be making a few more this week, namely ones that are Mighty Boosh related, along with a couple of Tim Gunn of Project Runway thrown in for good measure.

ETA: I just now saw the other Death Star Canteen shirt that was posted in the past couple weeks. Great minds think alike, apparently.

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Green blue turquoise necklace on: December 09, 2007 09:25:26 PM
do you use wire to do your necklaces? i've been doing mostly chain necklaces, but i want to do some different stuff, and i'm not sure if wire is best or something else...
8  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Photo Frames on: December 07, 2007 07:51:27 PM
I hope this goes here...These are some regular old picture frames you can buy at Michael's. I took various papers and embellishments and scrapbooking stuff.

These were the first ones I made, so they're not perfect, but I like them. I've made tons more that I'll post later.
9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: The Fan Dance on: December 06, 2007 06:59:47 PM
I iike them, they're very original (at least I haven't seen anything like this before).
It seems like you could probably just clip the chain for the extra length pretty easily and even them out.

The cupcake ring is my favorite, but I love them all!
