1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Frogging crocheted sleeves from the bottom to shorten them? on: December 20, 2010 08:32:17 PM
The topic pretty much says it all. After I blocked a sweater I realized the sleeves are way too long, but they have a cap at the top and are crocheted in place so I'd rather shorten them from the bottom up, but I've never frogged crochet that way. Does it work?
2  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Filigree Cardigan from Stitch Nation Yarn on: December 19, 2010 06:42:11 PM
well....I'm done. I'll post pictures very soon. The good news is I've officially mastered the pattern if anyone needs help. I literally crocheted and then re-crocheted every piece of it for the perfect fit and yet I STILL had to change the sleeves because they ended up being way to long. Silly me  Roll Eyes

lol nevermind. The cap is part of the sleeve...duh! So now I get to remove the sleeves from the vest part, un-seam them, and add the cap. Don't make this mistake at home  Wink

haha nevermind. I just had to think about it some more and look over the pattern again. The shape cap is part of the sleeve. lovely.

Hey guys =) I'm actually working on this cardi with the exact yarn and color. so far so good! I've done the back, the fronts, and the sleeves, but I got confused with the pattern said "Shape Cap." any idea what that is, what that means, and where I'm supposed to join yarn? thanks  Smiley
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Filigree Cardigan Question on: December 17, 2010 09:39:08 PM
Hello =) I'm currently working on this pattern and I got to the point that says "shape cap" and now I'm lost. Could anyone tell me where I'm supposed to join for this piece? Help would be great. Thanks!

Your sweater looks AMAZING! Truly, I am jealous. I was just trying to talk myself out of crocheting a sweater because I live in FL and it wouldn't get much use, but too bad, I'm starting a sweater tonight. So lovely!  Grin

Whoa yours is awesome! It turned out so lovely. Question: How are the armholes? Mine came out funny and I'm curious if it was me or the pattern lol.

Also, I forgot to post my completed project here, so now I will. Here's the link!
