not sure whether this is the right place to post this, but thought i'd put these up and see what people think!

these are a bunch of shadow puppets i made for a non-profit environmental organisation. they'll be used to teach children about bats and why bats are important to our environment (they eat nasty insects! and pollinate flowers so we can have fruit!)



a cave nectar bat. these guys have long tongues to extract nectar from flowers.



cave nectar bat again, with baby! the puppets were made from recycled OHP plastic sheets (the things they used to make presentations with, before microsoft powerpoint was invented...).



nur, the main character. the stylisation and clothes pattern were inspired by Javanese Wayang Kulit shadow puppets.

i'd love to know what people think!
