Love the beaded cover!!! Printing your own pages sounds intriguing, do you have any photos of the papers you printed? Did you use standard printer paper or something more exotic?

Agreed, these certainly max out the cutness quotient. Being a crocheter, I can tell you put a lot of work into these little guys.
They're great, thanks for posting the pics.

Love your little guys!!! Especially Tutti Whatsit and the 'Panda from Outer Space'. The first two look fuzzy, did you mix yarns for them?

237  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: altered book-Page a month along on: January 14, 2007 06:01:12 PM
I would totally join this! I currently have seven altered books started  Shocked  and non of them finished, so some ideas would help me along Smiley

That's how I started; there are so many ideas and techniques that you want to try them all. It's very frustrating after a while, you feel like you aren't getting anywhere. I picked the first book I had started and made the effort to finish it. Picks here:[ http://s140.photobucket.com/albums/r16/milksmom/ ] I still work on more than one book at the same time because some ideas/techniques are more appropriate to one book than another. However, I do always have one book I'm 'finishing'.

An entire deck of cards, my, you are ambitious!!!! Love the way you used dictionary pages for the backgrounds; it ties them all together. Maybe you can make up your own rules for playing.

Love the bright colors in your journal!!
Did you glue the record sleeve pieces to a backing? I was wondering how you got the 'notebook' look.

What a great idea!!!!
I've been thinking of a way to thank my co-worker and -ta da- here it is; it's perfect. Plus I've got book pages that are too good to ditch [there are more pack rats than you know], they would be perfect for the frame and boxes.
Thanks for posting this!
