Every year I share my new calendar images with Craftster. The feedback is always amazing and I love that this is such a supportive community. Here are some images from my 2013 calendar, Grand Champions. All of the drawings are graphite and watercolor. I had a lot of fun making it!

Everyday this buffalo has to deal with one tiny battle, but don't worry, he can handle it.

I painted the pieces in ink and watercolor, then cut them out and placed them in layers, then scanned it so it has a slight 3D effect.

These are ink and watercolor drawings from my upcoming 2012 calendar. The theme is "Grow," and each animal has stuff growing on them. Still working on more!

We all need a little reminder sometimes.

The first in a series of "Animal Affirmations"! It was originally done in ink and watercolor, then scanned and printed with archival inks. Hand cut and glued into a hand painted shadow box.

Maybe this will happen when all of the icebergs are gone...

I like to think that foxes could build their own ship and sail the seven seas.

We are holding our 3rd Bloomington Handmade Market on Saturday, November 6th from 10am-5pm at the Bloomington Convention Center! BHM is an indie craft fair that showcases modern, handmade goods from local and regional artists. Booths are 8x8' and are $45. There will be 46 booths and this is a juried show. At previous events, we've had 1,300+ patrons come through, and many of our vendors have had record sales! Application deadline is August 22nd.
