I started mine a couple weeks ago (but have set it aside to finish my Ravelympics projects). I'm using Paton's Classic Merino, that I hand dyed myself. I have pics up on my ravelry projects page. and on my blog (cinnaofdoom.wordpre ss.com). Haven't quite finished the increases yet. It seems easy enough as a project.

sounds good. i'm usually pretty free in the evenings. so pick a time and a day, and i'll be there. i'm also going to toot my own horn and say i'm more or less an advanced knitter, so i will be more than willing to help with questions.
non-knitting: um crochet, embroidery, tatting, handquilting... origami?

(i know... but i was busy) so thanks for prompting me to look thru... i like your version much better, its not murky and watered down. fan-tas-tique!

holy crap! this thread is over 2 years old... and there has yet to be a definitive 'hey, lets get together at such and such a place on x date at y time'. i'm in the northern liberties(kinda) there is a group of us that get together on sunday afternoons between 1 and 3 at the Latte Lounge, at 4 and Brown/Reno. Its a couple doors north of Honey's Sit and Eat. There are quite a few of us 'experienced' knitters there every week. so if your available, and want to stop in, you'll see me there.
if anyone has any other suggested places or times or days, i'm game.
