There are actually a number of ways you could sell custom figures like this, although online might be easiest and most profitable.  You could also go the route of local places that either sell your completed work wholesale or have samples at their shops plus arrangements for you to make something custom for their shoppers by contacting you as well, etc... and there are other ways too.

Check out some of the pages at my site on doing polymer clay as a business to get some details and leads:

and maybe these two also:

I'd also suggest checking out some other people online who make custom polymer clay figures (or cake toppers, etc.) to see what they charge and how yours compare to theirs for some general $$ guidelines.

HTH, and good luck!

Thanks again for all of the encouragement! Thank you for this info, Diane B.  I'm eager to look into it.  What a fun way to earn a little extra!

I just love those, they ROCK, you captured everyone's characters/personality amazingly, and I believe you could definitely sell these kind of sculptures for a very decent price as they are really fab!!!!  Grin

I am so thankful for such wonderful comments... thank you.

So how would I even go about selling something like this?  Would it even be worth it financially?  Anyone else sold their work and can give pointers?  THanks
