There was a huge sale at my local michaels. This sale included gobs and gobs of novelty yarn. It was mainly no name yarn but i saw some incredible ribbon yarn and fun fur.

How could i refuse. i bought three skiens of black and white themed yarn to make this scarf. It's worked on a Q hook.

I added some left over incredible as fringe

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Lion King Costume HELP!!!! on: May 01, 2007 03:22:38 PM
Hi.

My school is doing a production of the lion king(I'm pumbaa). The club i'm in is doing the costumes. We've got the minor characters set as well as Sarabi and SARAFINA. We have enough fur and material to make Shenzi.

Anyway the JOANN'S CLOSED. So were stuck crocheting and knitting the costumes. I need some ideas.

I've never done anything clothing wise that wasn't basic.

Here's the charactors that i need tips for:

Hyenas
Ed
Banzai

Lions
Young SIMBA
YOUNG NALA
OLDER SIMBA/ muFASA
sCAR

RAFIKI
TIMON
ZAZU

Has anyone wot this book. On one of my frequent trips to micheals I saw it and said hmm you know what I just might need this. My dad's building me a craft hall. He says he's so tired of cluttered stuff that he'll build me a craft hall full of the following:

Knitting ( my yarn stash of ove 230 skiens and 32 pairs of needles)
Crosstiching(  A lot of floss and patterns)
Boondoggling( 150 spools and numerous skiens)
Quilting (Jo- ANN'S was going out of buisnees enough said)
Stamping (Used to scrapbook ended up over flowing with stamps)
Beading (Binged in NYC at 4 different LBS)

So if anyone has this book I'd greatly like reviews.
