1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Colts Hat on: October 03, 2007 04:28:43 PM
My oldest son is a HUGE Colts fan.  I decided to make him a one of a kind hat.  He shaves his head so this will keep him warm this winter.

I used KP Options size 7 needles and Plymouth Encore Worsted yarn.

Thanks for looking!

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Who are you on Ravelry? on: September 26, 2007 08:49:42 AM
I thought I would start a thread so we can keep track of who we are once we get into Ravelry.  I am seepattiknit.

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My first stranded knitting project! on: August 20, 2007 01:41:37 PM
This was a present for my Grandson (modeled by him).  I got the pattern for the hat at this site:  http://www.helloyarn.com/wp/?p=252

The wristbands I made up using the same skull motif.  I am very happy with the way these turned out.  I use Plymouth Encore Knitting Worsted yarn and size 4 needles on the hat and 6 on the wristbands.

Hope the picture shows up!

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Recycled Sari Silk on: August 02, 2007 02:37:58 AM
Has anyone used this yarn yet?  It is really beautiful!  I was thinking of making the Saturday Market Bag from Magknits out of it. Do you think it would work okay?

Thanks for looking!

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / yarn from E-bay auction on: June 08, 2007 08:52:04 AM
Hi, I bought some yarn on e-bay.  One was advertised as wool and one was advertised as wool blend.  I do not think either one contains any wool.  There is no "give" to the yarn.  The seller has excellent feedback and many wonderful comments from buyers.  Is there any "test" I can do to see if this is wool or not? Huh

Thanks

YarnPat
