1  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Under the Hoodie - Important question!! on: April 19, 2009 02:59:11 AM
Dear all,

I am working on under the hoodie and have gotten to the part where I add the pocket. What I don't understand is how I get started. When I pull the stitches through from the back to the front (with the new skein at the WS of the sweater and me knitting at the RS), how do I continue knitting? The skein is still at the WS then and once the stitches are pulled through to the RS I have no way of accessing the wool from the skein on the WS of the sweater. Please, I really want to continue today, so I would greatly appreciate any help!!!

Thanks in advance!!

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / help please....need simple ornament or the like on: November 10, 2007 01:11:04 AM
i know i know, it's me again.....

i already looked all over the internet but i just haven't found the right thing quite yet.

i am a translator and am planning to send out cards with ornaments or something else easy to send to my clients this year. seeing as to how i am quite young and modern i am looking for a nice (not too boring looking) christmas ornament pattern that is fairly fast to crochet and fits in a card.

i know i am kinda late with this, but i need to get them cranked out soon, so please please please, if you know of any pattern please post a link or point me in the right direction.....who knows, you might even get yourself one of my cards ;-p
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Cutest baby shoes please....!!! on: October 12, 2007 07:51:14 AM
I am looking for the cutest possible crochet baby shoe pattern for a friend who is expecting a baby boy in november.

The friend I am making this for is kind of into the dark scene, meaning he dresses mainly black and wears a tunnel earring, so the baby shoes can be unconventional too.

So if anyone is willing to share a personal pattern or knows of a nice free pattern, I would be very happy...

7  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Anyone up for a Frou Frou Crochet-Along??? on: September 10, 2007 08:04:58 AM
would someone like to join me for the Frou Frou?Huh
I always feel lonely with my projects. I have also started a SNBHH crochet-along a while ago, but not many people are posting.

I'd be happy about new contributors.

8  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / cupcake help please on: August 31, 2007 11:08:28 AM
to everyone else making the cupcake. i have finished all the parts (after much trouble with mistakes in the pattern that didn't seem to be in the errata). i also only came out with 6 stitches on each side of the neck and 18 in the middle instead of 8 on each side as some people on the forum have said there should be.

but now i have another question. i have never made a garment before and have no idea about how to do the seams. how do i sew everything together?Huh? sorry if that's a stupid question.
9  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / lining of exchange bag on: August 08, 2007 06:25:47 AM
hi there,

have been slacking with my posting here because i just started a small translation business, but now i'm back. just need to catch up with posting pictures of my finished projects.

i have a question though. has anyone lined the exchange bag? if yes, how did you go about it? I would really appreciate any help.

thanks so much
claudia
10  EUROPE / GERMANY / Nylongarn fuer Taschen on: July 26, 2007 01:53:38 AM
Hallo,

in dem Buch von Debbie Stoller gibt es eine Tasche die aus relativ dickem Nylongarn gehaekelt wird. Weiss jemand, wo man dies in Deutschland bekommt? Bisher habe ich nur Nylongarn zum naehen bzw. zum Perlenauffaedeln gefunden.

Ich waere wirklich sehr dankbar, wenn jemand mir sagen wuerde, wo ich dieses Garn bekommen kann.

Liebe Gruesse
-C
