dear all,

what can i say...i hope you all like it. feedback welcome!!! Smiley

if you wonder why i posted so many pics, i read that we're encouraged to post progress pics, so i guess i went a little crazy.

finished clock with sushi drawings at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock (it's always sushi time...) and wasabi colored hand on the clock (it's the hand that counts the seconds)

you can see the single parts of the clock in this pic

8  felted bag to be in Felting: Completed Projects by clawitter on: January 29, 2007 05:53:07 AM
so i went to this workshop this past saturday and after the ball i made which is posted in another thread this was the second thing i ever made. it's not completely done (still need to cut out the handles)...the instructor had recommended to first make a ball but it turned out all that really did was waste time i would have urgently needed to finish the bag. anyway that just meant i spent the better part of my weekend on my bathroom floor finishing off the felting process. the outside is different shades of purple and the inside is a grass green as contrast. btw, it started out as a stack of wool about 20 inches high....it took forever to rip and pile up....but it was soooo much fun. the entire bag is about 50x40 cm....(20x15inches)....so its quite big

comments much appreciated since this is the first real project ever made by me

9  Ball - my first felted little thing ever in Felting: Completed Projects by clawitter on: January 29, 2007 05:49:17 AM
so i went to this felting workshop were this lady basically just provided the materials and the space for own work and this is the first thing i made. EVER!!! the instructor recommended just doing a ball first. although i feel like that didn't help me much at all with my second project. i know it's not much but i also did a larger project which i am posting in another thread....
comments appreciated

title changed by mod to more descriptive title for searching, etc.

ps. it's not really as wonky as it looks on the picture. but i just wore it and it wouldn't lay flat anymore right now.
