babs, quit stalling and join the project!

I joined I joined  Grin!

Jumped in with both feet!

My theme is I'm a scavenger. Really debated on Facing Forward but thought the scavenger fit me better. I also went with the online digitizing. That way it can be viewed online as well, how cool.

Curious as to what cover color everyone went with. Why was that so hard for me. I chose the light gray but wanted the kraft brown that it did NOT come in.

I'm guessing these journals have 40 papers, (so it has 80 surfaces) like their smaller cousins and the lined one I have sitting here isn't really as flimsy as I had thought although will definitely be putting some pages together. The thought of doing 40 spreads is a bit daunting to say the least.

BethieB I agree, you do have an amazing friend!

I've also just wandered in, well with Racky's guidance,  Grin.

I was going to just get a moleskin and play along at home with my little journal but seeing all you guys jumping in with both feet has got me wondering if I should do the same thing, hmmm.

I happen to have a couple of the small moleskins here and am thinking that they are the same as what you are getting when you sign up. Will have to go see if I can actually find them and will report back on sizes.

As far as gesso goes, yes, it sands beautifully. I've been using it on sewn, stuffed muslin and have been sanding it down and it feels almost like a soft leather. These pages could be interesting done the same way.

Off to find youtube videos of journals now.

You did send to the correct people this round, you know. Despite your best efforts.  Cheesy

You REALLY have no idea just how hard that was...really.

I totally cancelled out ALL my bonus points for sending before everyone else on that first round...dangit.

Oooh I'm a little behind here in this gallery.

Really glad you like the kitty on the bike Knickertwist! I thought that totally fit the nonsense theme.

Phizzy LOVE those flying pen nibs! So cute!

Did no one else think of records besides me? I thought for sure everyone would do at least one, hehe. Glad you like it AM!

Stiffly those fold up legs are ultra adorable!!

I do finally have more pages on the way, yay!

Uh, could you put who you sent to and when into a pm and send it to me? That post hurt my head.

What, you can't read mumbo jumbo, hehe.

Alright already I'll send a pm sheesh... Grin.

Actually I got called away just as I was getting ready to further clarify in said aforementioned pm.

Now I'm hurting my own head.  Tongue

Sooo, apparently I can't read OR comprehend anything correctly.  Roll Eyes

I've been laboring under the impression (totally my fault...totally) that I was to send to Phizzy and Stiffly this round and was already going to be a bit late but then realized I was sending to Phizzy and ARoze. GAH! Color me stupid, hehe.

At any rate my pages FINALLY went out today and I'm feverishly working on Stiffly's page now. Well, at least working at a cold sweat stage.  Grin
