I struggle with photos, but that is something I am working on. Thanks for the feedback. I absolutely love your bags. Great shop.

3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Should I just close my Etsy Store on: January 26, 2007 09:41:25 AM
I am a little frustrated by my low sales on my etsy store. I have been selling on Etsy for almost a year now and only have had 10 sales. I do promote my store, I offer sales, I go on forums. Are my prices outrageous? Is the product wrong? I am all out of ideas for promotion. I sell well in person, but not good online. I need some pick-me-up. Visit my store and give me some feedback please...

I hope this year my etsy store will do better as I am now dedicating my time to being a full-time mom and seller. Check out my new post. What do you think?

lasandri: Thanks for the feedback. I have a real hard time taking pictures. I guess that's the reason I do better with parties than online. I have read a lot on hear about other people's experiences and now I am psyched to put my all into using the wisdom I've gained here. This is a great forum....  Grin

I have been with Etsy for a little while now. I am not getting the types of response or hits I was hoping for. I do my own advertising, so I am wondering if it would be more cost effective to just go with my own site and promote that way instead of Etsy. I joined Etsy because I am not a promoter, esp. of my own work. I would rather create. I have a ton on piece sitting in boxes and not posted on the website because I am affraid to post and pay the fees with no one looking at my site. I am kinda lost as to what I should do. Any advise would you guys could provide would be appreciated. Maybe my work isn't that great. Check it out and let me know. Be brutally honest.
