Hi everyone Smiley

Here are some wire-wrapped cuffs I have been working on, using large glass seed beads, fine wire and a cuff frame.

I hope you enjoy them. Questions and comments? Yes please!

my favourite is the bird cut out piece. your work is great and has that good "something a little bit different" appeal Smiley

Hi everyone Smiley

I wanted to show you what I've been up to, dabbling with wire knitting.
It's really good fun once you get used to knitting with something hard yet flexible, unlike soft yarn.
I incorporate metal beads, gemstone chips, large seed beads and pearls.

Onto the pics, here are three I have made:

Mermaid's Treasure - This one has dark grey freshwater pearls, large clear foil seed beads, mother-of-peal shell pieces and silver metal beads.

Purple Haze - genuine amethyst chips, purple glass silver streak beads, dark grey freshwater pearls, iridescent large seed beads and silver metal beads.

A Ladybird's Luck - red and black wire, hand-knitted together along with red and black glass and glass pearl beads in round and tubular shapes.

Hope you enjoy! As always, questions and comments? Yes please!

29  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: The (new) Etsy critique thread! on: October 20, 2009 05:57:08 AM
Hi everyone!

I have a fairly new etsy shop over at www.mishimon.etsy.c om
We are a mother daughter team who sell jewellery and gifts. We have had some good success with market stalls and open studio afternoon teas at our house, but would love to make online selling a bigger part of our business.
I would love to get some comments/feedback/advice/constructive criticism for our etsy store!

Many thanks,

Monique (Mishimon Designs)  Smiley

Your wire wrapping is really lovely, especially on the necklaces. I love how free-form and flowing it is!
