wow! Great job. I like the look of the handstiching! I also made my first reconstructed tee the other day. It's kind of addictive isn't it?
23  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Bottlecap Brooches - TUTORIAL & my first post! on: July 11, 2004 03:24:35 PM
Love the brooches. Thanks for sharing the instructions!

I did notice however that some of the images you used were taken from a particular artist (still alive). I realize you reclaimed them from magazines & such but I don't think that justifies it. I'm an illustrator so I guess I'm a bit sensitive in this regard.

Just wondering how you all felt about it.

It seems like many of the interesting craft sales aren't advertised very well, but you might want to keep an eye out at stores that sell locally made stuff like Dream, or Eugene Choo. The craft co-op I belong to has found a space finally and we're still trying to get everything running, but eventually we will be having fairs there. When this begins I'll make sure to post it here and on Glitter. Right now it is really quiet for craft sales because everyone is trying to get their momentum up for all the fairs in Christmas.

What kind of craft co-op do you belong to?
25  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: In need of your advice! on: July 08, 2004 11:24:52 PM
Hi,

Olive has some excellent advice. I also like seeing jewlery on people but I do like the pictures against the stone background. I'm not very keen on the black banner. Feels negative to me.

good luck!

Hi there,
I just did a journal post on what I made my Dad - I baked him authentic Italian biscotti...so easy & delicious. I put it in a tin & tied it up with a colorful, thrift shop neck tie.
