21  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: You know you've been knitting too much when ________. on: November 08, 2007 06:29:42 PM

I start recognizing the yarn in other people's projects.
22  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Floating plexi photo pendants - new pendants on p.4 on: September 30, 2007 02:28:32 PM
These are amazing.  I actually like them in a different way than resin, they are more industrial and sharp.  Resin sometimes has that rounded "candy" look that is cute but not as edgy or sophisticated.  Wonderful job.

I have been eyeing that color and hesitating because I never use cotton.  It looks so great!
Really nice choice.

I LOVE this color.  It looks really good.  Very 50's.  I love the collar, too.

This looks sooo great!  I have been eyeing the pattern, I think you convinced me!  Nice job.

I don't know what the etiquette on this is but I just posted my puff-sleeve cardigan on the Finished Projects board.  I don't want to double-post.
28  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / felt monsters on: September 16, 2007 03:38:54 PM
I made these as a sample for ones I'm going to make with my class.  (I work with special-needs boys)  My daughter suggested that I make the mini-monster for one of the teachers.  Just felt and wiggle-eyes and some fuzzy clearance fabric.

Here is mine...finally!

I used the KP Merino Style in storm, it took me 5 months of intermittent knitting and I ran out and had to order more.  It ended up too large for me (I'm sure I just wasn't precise enough measuring my gauge)  It fits my friend great, though!

Definitely the best issue!  I really should be studying for big test but will really be knitting.  Bad, Bad Knitty!

Maybe this is just my dental neurosis but Woodins creep me out.  They look like TEETH to me!  CREEEEEEPY!
